Here's two images that were in the Salem News today. You can read the articles in the Salem News at www.salemnews.com, one on Friday, April 25 and one on Saturday, April 26.
Looking at these pictures makes my eyes tear up. No shit. Interestingly, "Message in a Bottle" by The Police is playing on the radio. Weird.
I did a post about it all on my blog and pinched one of the Salem News pics(I hope they don't mind).
This thing has just really kind of made this day a Twilight Zone moment for us. Lots of stuff I wanted to get done didn't get done. I just kind of vegetated most of today and found it hard to think straight.
I'm so sorry this has made you so upset, Bob. You are a true friend. It IS surreal! Really!
Lisa--THANKS!
We are well covered with insurance and, if things don't go off track, what with TWO insurance companies involved--ours and the landlord's--then we'll be golden. We just have to go one step at a time. Our landlord wants to keep us, so we can only keep our fingers crossed that the money-grubbing insurance companies don't screw things up too much.
Wendy
(And if you're one of those money-grubbing insurance companies reading this (not YOU, Lisa! the ubiquitous "you") then please understand that the Art Corner and the landlord just want to go back to business as usual. Nothing more. We're all hard-working people who want to live our lives by our own hands. So THERE!)

This is so tough for you, but I think you'll pull through. If you need some help, let me know.
You guys, you guys!
