Scripting on a Gold Leaf Frame

I was informed today that the script on a Gold Leaf Frame, such as I showed you last post, is NOT restricted to a Black Background. They can use red or white, too. And, if asked NICELY, they can match any matboard color if you just provide them with the Stock Number!!!

New Product

We have a New Product. Our Gold Leaf Framer has a promotion that includes Scripting on the frame. A Genuine Gold Leaf Frame.
You can have the date of your wedding inscribed, or the date of your child's birth, or any other milestone in your life, etc., etc., etc.
Here's a LOOSE example; a painting of Chuck's that has the title inscribed in Gold Leaf.

The frame comes in a couple of widths; the second picture shows both. And also both styles of lettering: Bold or Script.

We have created New Signage to direct customers to their best destinations once inside the shop. To the left, we have the "Frame Shop." To the right is the "Art Gallery."

Have fun!

Patty!!

Patty--more likely known as Trisha--paid a visit today. She had worked at the store some years ago, but had a "tiff" with Dave and so their relationship ended. I never had a problem with her except that I named her "Patty" because she is a "Patricia," but I had no clue that everyone else called her Trisha.

She works at the Mingo Gallery in Beverly since she left us at the Art Corner. She's been happy there.

She was happy to see the changes I've made. She sensed the MAJOR change in atittude!

Welcome back, Patty/Trisha!!

Virginia Hill's Reception

We had a GREAT time Sunday!
About 30 people showed up and STAYED and chatted and ate all the food we'd put out!
We made some sales. Not great, but not shabby either!
Here's a look: (Virginia's wearing the pink sweater!)

I tried to post a little 30 second video of the fish swimming around in their tank, but, apparently, this blog site thingie won't accomodate it.

TRADE SHOW

We had a GREAT time this past weekend in New York City at DECOR EXPO, the framing trade show, held each year in NY, Atlanta and Las Vegas.
Chuck and I took the Acela Express out of Boston to Penn Station and spent the weekend oogling frame stuff and ART.
Besides Decor Expo, the Jacob Javits Center hosts ART EXPO, which is mind boggling! While Decor Expo hosted about a hundred exhibitors, Art Expo had maybe a THOUSAND exhibitors, of all sorts of Art Permutations: Artists, Galleries, Craftspeople, importers, benefactors...
Next year, we may try exhibiting too in the Art Expo! It is the East Coast's largest source of Art!

NEW WINDOW DISPLAYS

We have FUN new window displays up for all to see! And they ARE eye-catching!

I've had people ask where we got the "Monopoly People." I made them, on a whim, and on a HUGE hint from my husband!

They can be seen from down the street, which is the POINT!

Here they are:

Fishy Update

Our fishes are getting BIG! They've only been living at the store for about a month and a half, but we can see that they are GROWING!! Just a HINT of their FUTURE! Fancy Goldfish will mature at the size of a Jumbo Egg, or LARGER. These guys are still BABIES!

Window Displays

We've redesigned our Window Displays and hope these are Eye Catching! I think so and I think they "tell it all!"
